Lebois & Co was founded 89 years ago by Raymond Dodane, who at the time belonged to the third generation of the Dodane watchmaking family. A vintage Lebois & Co chronograph auctioned by Christie’s prompted Tom van Wijlick and his wife Eveline to research this unknown brand further and revive it in 2014. In its most recent project, Lebois & Co, under the name CoLAB, democratically teamed up with watch lovers from around the world to launch a retro chronograph series called Heritage Chronograph. The finishing touches are now in place, the prototypes are ready and production is underway.

CoLAB Lebois & Co Heritage Chronograph - Step 4: Prototype reveal

CoLAB is our collaboration initiative that brings together watch enthusiasts from around the world to collaborate on the development of new watch models. Our first project is Lebois & Co’s Heritage Chronograph; the long awaited and much requested re-interpretation of our 1940’s chronographs.

Chronographs are an important aspect in the history of Lebois & Co. It is only logical, therefore, that we want to develop such an important watch together with our community of fans and watch enthusiasts.

Fast, Precise, Beautiful – Lebois Heritage Chronograph. Review Of A Revived Vintage Watch.

These days Lebois & Co. is presenting the prototypes of a revived vintage watch: The Lebois Heritage Chronograph. It follows the role model of the classic Chronographe Suisse, produced during the 40s and 50s with a rich functionality and a certain look. These big watches allowed to measure time, speed, pulse and more with a lot of scales, like the Tachymeter, Pulsometer and more.
