Companies that still set international standards today were founded in the Black Forest. Junghans is no exception. Founded in 1861 by Erhard Junghans, the company grew rapidly. By 1903, Junghans was already the largest watch manufacturer in the world. But we never just wanted to mass-produce watches, but to help shape the fascinating subject of timepieces. Whether classic masterpieces or innovations such as solar-powered movements and the revolutionary radio-controlled watch. “The Future of Tradition” is an incentive and guideline for Junghans and the owner family Steim. Our best-known collections include Meister, max bill, FORM and 1972.
