Earlier in 2026, Formex unveiled its ceramic Essence case with a full ceramic bracelet and the world’s first micro-adjustable ceramic clasp – paired with a series of skeleton and signature dials. The story continues with the addition of a solid Muonionalusta meteorite dial, blacked-out through a precise dark-nickel treatment that sharpens the meteorite’s natural pattern. Formex calls it the “Dark Matter”.

Our dial experts use the rock’s rich iron content to deposit the precious metal through electroplating. The outcome? Nothing short of spectacular. The infusion of rose gold accentuates the mesmerizing Widmanstätten pattern inherent in the Muonionalusta meteorite. It adds a captivating depth and an undeniable touch of elegance. Since the unique textures are organic and cannot be artificially reproduced, each dial truly becomes a one-of-a-kind work of art.
